Endurance Vehicle Warranty CAUTION

I was heading up to get some fire wood. Was driving slowly up a road when at some point my transmission cooler line broke loose allowing all the transmission fluid to be pumped out. After downing a tree and cutting it up I went to back to move my truck. Put it in gear and nothing. The truck would not move. This is when the big wrench symbol appeared on my dash. I knew my transmission had a seriou issue. I called for a tow. My 2013 F350 4x4 diesel was taken to our local Ford dealer where they confirmed that the transmission was toast. A claim was submitted to Endurance for the repair. They denied the claim because they stated the damage to the transmission was caused by a non-covered part (transmission cooler line). Upon further review I see that this is very common as they find any excuse to deny claims. I am now on the hook for a 11k transmission replacement. This is after paying over 3k for the policy

Word from someone who now knows "Endurance vehicle warranty is shit and not worth the mony".

Yes and that has been their wrap from the beginning, think auto shield or something like that is the other. I have little respect for all the actors/athletes/singers that represent these outfits in their commercials. They are knowingly helping them sell a scam product to the public.
Have some compassion, they need to supplement their pitiful wages.

Why people put their faith in actors, athletes, and other 'notable personalities' regarding significant financial decisions and national policy direction is simply unfathomable....but it obviously works...we continue to follow their completely unqualified and self-interested advice through purchases as well as the ballot box.

Thanks for sharing your bad experience. I guess the lesson is to buy well regarded quality products and skip buying the extra insurance.

If I didn't get calls and emails asking about my extended vehicle warranty, it'd be pretty quiet...

😁

Totally sucks… I bought an extended warranty years ago on a truck and got burned on a sunroof rack claim. Plus the Ford dealer f’d up after they “fixed it”… lesson learned. If it’s in my wheel house, buy the parts and do myself. I have a local independent mechanic, Bellingham Automotive for all else.

And stay current on inspections and maintenance.

I wonder if you had a comprehensive policy, if it would be covered under that. Damage while moving. We usually get that with a 1000 deductible, but 10k would help.
