OFFICIAL 2026 NFL SEASON DISCUSSION

Bold prediction; the Seahawks will be a wild-card at best and eliminated in the wild-card game (if the make it) ...

Go Chiefs
same with the Chefs...

awe, who are we kiddin'....my prediction is that it'll come down to the Chefs and Broncos. One will win the division, the other will be wild card. neither will be #1 seed.

Chargers will continue doing Charger-type of things....too bad, I like Herbert.

Raiders will do typical Raider-type of things.

You don't have to disrespect Bo, he gets plenty already. Unfinished business to wrap up.
definitely not disrespecting Nix. I think he's the real deal....I was trying to take the diplomatic route there.

somehow we're always underdogs....or there are excuses as to how they've won over the last couple of years. Personally, I think it's ridiculous to think he wasn't a HUGE part of those wins. not to mention that the Broncos were second in the league in dropped passes. Well, we all saw what happened when he wasn't in there against NE. Nix is a baller which I'll take every day of the week and twice on Sundays (I really don't know what that saying means, but it sounds good [to me]).

Wonders what the existing coaching staff are thinking or planning. I bet the coaches that left recently are breathing a sigh of relief.

Pats have improved theor OL. Maye looks the part. They are much better at WR. Doubs and Brown should be better on short and intermediate routed. TE/ RB is pretty much the same.

Defensively, excellent DB's, Solid DT's, thin at edge, league average off the ball LB group.
Kicking game is good. A+ punt returner.

Pats need growth from a couple young D-lineman. Ponder is an unknown breakout candidate. If not, Milton Williams needs to stay healthy. The secondary looks formidable.

Pats want to run it on offense. The O-line is much more atheltic and talented. They should be better in McDaniels screen game. Last year the offense was all Maye. He can make all the throws.

I actually think it will come down to the Donkeys & the Bolts...if LA can get its o-line sorted out, they may be dangerous with McDaniel calling offensive plays...

And...for the first time in a several years, I am hopeful the Raiders will be competitive this year...

  1. Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers: 42
  2. Browns QB Joe Flacco: 41
  3. Rams QB Matthew Stafford: 38
.

Bunch of geriatrics, none of which will make it
through the season intact.
😁
May as well be starting Methuselah here, some teams just can't move on from the past.

You think Herbert will play well in the playoffs?
His record in elimination games leaves something to be desired.
