Tiger muskies are a man-made hybrid, not indigenous.Yes, tiger muskie are known to be indigenous to all PNW waters. Everyone knows that.
Yeah it was in jest because the tiger muskies are sterile hybrids. If anyone isn't aware of that, hope they learned something todayI know this is all in jest, but just to keep the record straight, extant nowadays muskies ARE INVASSIVE in the PNW.

I know, I am a hoot! Just trying to discourage any unsuspecting potential bucket biologist out there, we have enough trouble with invasive fish species, we covered some of it recently:
We can just use amphibian DNA to fill in the missing pieces so we can bring them back....or something like that...heard that somewhere.Esox columbianus is an extinct species, extinct for more than 2 million years.
fair point. and yes, that is a huge problem, which, once established, they'll be incredibly difficult to remove and will reek havoc on the native populations, which, since there are so few salmonids left anyway, they'll probably move on to other native fish like pikeminnow and suckers...Just trying to discourage any unsuspecting potential bucket biologist out there, we have enough trouble with invasive fish species, we covered some of it recently:
incredible that rod and reel design hasn't changed much at all over so many generations! My great, great, great, great, great....grandfather. Was a badass musky slayer. Probably the reason they went extinct.
