I had forgotten about this thread and wish I could retroactively pull it up... but at Daiso, the cheap "Japanese Dollar Store" they sell these metal jigs that resemble a P-Line Laser Minnow... sort of. They're obviously more cheaply made. They sell for like $0.75ea. Some guy was selling them on Marketplace for $5/ea as Laser Minnows.

Unfortunately there are unsuspecting people that will buy them . I may have thought those life jackets were a good deal if I hadn't seen the exact ones at Walmart . I was needing to add a couple to my boat, although I didn't buy them from Walmart .
I post random junk items On The Internet for extremely HIGH PRICE on sites that have small print saying "no returns - once you pay money's gone! Too bad!!!" Talking $5k for a couple pairs of socks type PRICES.
I then SIT BACK and WAIT for people to click "buy" by mistake!! Without realizing the PRICE!! I sit back and COLLECT!!!
A lot of mystery ranch stuff being listed at crazy prices on account of it not being available any more.
I've been looking for a quick attach void bag for a while now - every time one pops up it's listed around $120. For a $30 item....
That's what most of them sold for new. At worst, one of them is listing for only a 20% depreciation. ( i blew up the pic and looked) Wonder what the salesmans commission is on pre owned units?
That brand is not at all budget minded, most buyers are million dollar earners.
My grandson is sure I need one of these. Not in the million dollar range though. He loves RV shopping, and last week went to LaGrande to see the other grandmas trailer getting built. Not sure what we want. They all seem overpriced.
a shrinking rock thnx to the 8 billion plus folks on it, and it takes a 1.3M rig to roam around the very few places left to do so? Well, cash those stock options and head on out, Lucy and Desi will be waiting for ya.

I was told after a long windy night at sun lakes with the tent collapsed against our faces that tents were not longer an option. And ya can't really sleep in Geo Metro. Something in between will work.

My wife would never sleep in a tent but loves the van I built. So comfortable and easy to use (the only setup ever is leveling blocks) vs. some of the slightly cheaper options. My friend was looking for a tent style topper for a Tacoma. Most are in the $13k range and are very basic. Toppers that approach what I have in my van are $35k+ and require a big pickup to get a good amount of room in them. The trailer style campers are a spacious value option, but then you can't pull a boat. Unless you want to do serious 4WD roads, I think the van is the way to go.

We were discussing the market for these while eating lunch at the show. The number of potential clients has to be very small. Wonder how many they sell in a year? I also wonder how many of the people that own them use them to anywhere near their full potential?

Kay followed this maker for a while when we were looking for a camper to take Abby out. Told her she needed to work harder to win the lottery. I've seen 2 on the road during my trips back and forth. Both in Montana.
Yeah, clientele list has got to be very small. And that list is kept confidential. It did slip out once that a certain corporation placed an order for 6 of them, but that was quickly silenced.
