Bad cold or something viral

RNA vaccines will be the rule for flu pretty soon. 100-140 million fertilized chicken eggs are used each year to make the traditional flu vaccine. Staggering number, but check it for yourself. All are fertilized and incubated in one of a number of high security containment egg production facilities. Then they all need to be infected with the seasonal flu, and the virus purified and killed for injection.

RNA vaccines eliminate all that and are considerably easier to change as needed.

I do the same as I have a lot of older friends and am immunocomprimised myself.. I haven't had any reactions to any of the vaccines including Covid stuff!
My wife had an anaphylactic reaction and had to be treated at an ER after her 1st Covid shot.

I got Covid shots 1 and 2. I get a flu shot at my annual physical every year. I have asked my internist PCP if I should get a Covid shot and every year he has said No, because it had not been updated. Maybe this year...

Pretty soon, Doctors will have the mRNA vaccines to wipe out many cancers.

The financial success for few outweigh the needs of the many suffering. The current inflating situational problem of The United States Health Care problem. Proverbially, We can do much better if we truly want to.

Everyone is different. I do have a friend who's dad had a terrible reaction to the Covid vaccine. He is the only one that I personally know. He had a lot of issues from it, but I've had boosters from all of the manufacturers and never had any issues. And I feel that I'm protecting myself, family and multitude of friends!

The small percentages of the few should not condemn tje rest of us. We all know that. However I avoid the more drugs as I age and choose alternate methods because I know my ills are a moving target allergies hit me when I hit 50- 60’s and 70’s. I recall my awful reactions to Of all things Chantix. Nothing more than worrisome and wtf? Hives headaches weird arse dreams . Other reactions a long list including I later found out . The common maladies that hit us like clockwork as the years clock speeds up… ;)

This current bug isnt doing kids any good. The local little league got hit hard after just one weekend jamboree. They went from multiple teams packed with players to teams reduced in less than 5 days. Thankfully most are recovering nicely and should be back by the end of this week.

Wife and I both got the controversial "jansen jab" back during 1st COVID becuase thats what was available. (IIRC, it was supposed to have been almost completely untested. Honest i think it was just fast tracked to help deal with the pandemic. Wouldn't be the 1st time that happened.) We both still got the damn bug, but our symptoms and recovery times were much much shorter. We've kept up with boosters becuase of our family related travels taking us to parts of the US where the bug is still dominant and havent had issues other than a runny nose since.

The Mrs teaches pre-kindergarten. She's got half her class out with this crud. She has it too, of course.

Well before... I think it was caused by a combination of the LM virus and/or the fly fishing, while holding your mouth correctly, with a cigar and balancing a glass of whiskey virus... which btw, the whiskey and cigars have prevented further occurrences of Ebola and probably Covid! LOL!

When I worked for school district as a custodian and sub teacher part time it was for 7 years until 2019. Caught crud often the first few years then late 2019 covid . We decided to hide out for a couple years had groceries delivered and we called it Cabin fever in the campground. Her grandkids would come by coughing not washing hands our nagging … gave them masks yada yada holy hell

The girlfriend visited her daughter and new grand baby in the hospital and brought the crud into our home. She’s miserable and I started a preemptive strike…so far just a fringe sickness. Let’s hope we can both be done with by this weekend…we have plans. 😉
