March Madness '26

Bucknell didn't make it in this year. (started playing 1896, 1900-01 pre ncaa national champs) Now ya got me wondering about my other favorite team.......

Ugh, figures... lost by 10 in the TIAA.

I'll wait till it gets downstream a bit more before paying closer attention. 🙄

Maybe they'll find another friendly local judge/alum/booster.

(though this year's 'Bama isn't a contender - I wish they were going against a mid major with a lot of size and rebounding like SMC or Santa Clara - since Bama (like often) has guards but can't board or score from their bigs.)

No they are not…but i had them beating TCU…which I changed.
 
ehhh, at least my bracket wasn't busted....started off imperfect with OSU losing, but everyone is solidly in the mix in the group I'm in....bunch of docs I work with....half of the money put in goes to the winner, half goes to Doctors Without Borders

pretty rad if ya ask me....already decided that if I win, all of it will go there.
 
I love the fact High Point beat a power conf team. I hate how many mid-level big conf teams get in. Power conference means something in football. Much less in hoops!!
The fact that SMU even got a chance at playing in is a travesty. Glad Miami Ohio beat them.
SMU was the 11th place ACC team. ELEVENTH... 😖 They were 8-10 in league play.
Dude, you get 11th place, go 8-10, in ANY conference you should not be in this tourney. Too many 25 win teams from small confs don't get in because they went 16-2 or 17-1 in conference, but didn't win their conf championship game. Teams like Navy, SFA, Belmont, Yale, Liberty and UNCW should get a shot before the SMUs and Iowas.
