Auriemma rips officials and beefs with Staley, but bad night for Strong and Fudd is why UConn fell

UConn’s Geno Auriemma was not a happy man. The Huskies coach was upset about the officiating, with his team’s performance and with South Carolina coach Dawn Staley.

Has any great been a good person. Not a common trait. Geno is a prick no doubt. His players love him and you cannot argue the results.

Oh, and by the way.

UConn men in the championship game Monday!! Was not expecting it but I’ll take it. It is truly amazing what that school has been able to accomplish considering its location, the budget issues the state has, etc. To a degree, I think it helps. Players that go there, go for the right reason.

Not Final Four related, but remember when Tennessee Women’s basketball ruled when Pat Summitt was coach?
They currently have one player on their roster. Crazy times in college athletics!

Oliviyah Edwards decommits as Tennessee roster shrinks to 1

On the same day that Tennessee guard Jaida Civil announced she's entering the transfer portal, Oliviyah Edwards, the No. 2 recruit in the SC Next 100 class of 2026, requested a release from her national letter of intent with the Lady Volunteers on Monday.

"oh, but great defense"....sure, but makes for a terrible TV product. Just give me a happy medium...the last really great game was Duke/UConn, and even that was really only a great ~5 minutes. But that's just me...

Also when Ted BURTON remained in the resturraunt after closing hours they HAD TO kick him out!!! Had to LAY HIS ASS into the potatoes!!!
