Yeah I expect it to be the cup of tea for like 1% of people here. Just mostly sharing that there's some excellent musicianship written off in that world.

Also, I toured in death metal bands 25yrs ago 😂
 
I like heavy music and have been to plenty of metal shows in my day and I still can’t get into Cookie Monster vocals. Never have since the first death metal I ever heard, maybe Bolt Thrower? Love the riffage (time and place) but the vocals kinda make me wanna laugh.

Yeah I'm not into Bolt Thrower at all

That genre never really did it for me, but should be entertaining enough on Karaoke night.

I'll be seeing these guys in March in a small venue show....can't wait. I love that whole era of thrash....early Metallica will always be my favorite (love their later stuff too) but between these guys, Metal Church, Exodus, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth....I like them all, especially live.

Really like this Iron Maiden cover they do too!

A lot of genre blending Matt. Like punk polka, Mexican Norteno or the Dreadnoughts… ;)

Genre Fusion: These bands blend polka’s signature fast-paced, rhythmic, and accordion-driven sound with rock, punk, or folk styles
