Throughout my life, I have been totally amazed by men that NEVER considered the impact of their date of marriage or conception day for their children on fishing and hunting seasons for the rest of their lives!!! The impact goes WAY beyond nine months.
I had one outdoor friend that ended up with all the anniversaries and birthdays falling in October!!!

My wife's and son's birthdays are on consecutive days later in June which I discovered happens to be around the time that small streams often drop into shape. That eventually turned into "Birthday Week" with a number of family trips over the years to fishing destinations where my non-fishing wife would bring her sewing machine to do quilting while I (and my son when he still lived at home and for awhile afterwards) fished.
