Rain

It could possibly be very windy on Christmas Eve. Lots of variation in the different models. I hope nobody losses power for the holiday.

Interesting setup possible....should be paying attention for travelling that day.

Hope it's not bad, power outages on Christmas can ruin a good meal.
Thank God for wine...power outage can't ruin that.

Have lots of fuel for the BBQ or pizza oven. It has saved several Christmas dinners for me in the past.

Wednesday afternoon:

Looks like we might get some tonight or on Wednesday. I hope so, as we could use some to freshen things up.
I'm probably in the minority for wanting rain. Unfortunately, it looks like this will be shorted lived and start to dry up again.

Here in Vancouver we have had a hell of a lotta rain . But now drying out and temps going down. Below freezing to sbout 30 and the projected temp a week away 1st of Jan is 13 degrees! Sooo like it or not can not be confident about projected forecasts basically since July 25th this year. Most gardeners and weather nuts will know what i refer to… in keeping with the apolitical ambience here.

It’s going to be interesting watching the wind do a hard switch from north to south tomorrow.

My wife and the girls are preparing a lot of food today in advance of Christmas dinner and the secondary refrigerator is getting full

Food for thought: Consider freezing those ice packs now and if you lose power use them to keep food temps at safe levels.

I’m seeing lows to mid 30’s over the next week with highs in the 40’s in my area. I hope it stays on the cooler side with no 50 degree temps so we start getting some snow in the mountains. We really need it.
I hear you about the forecasts. It’s the wind forecasts that drive me crazy. Look at different models and you think you are living on different planets. πŸͺ

And now, for "the rest of the story"...
It's been WEEKS since the thermometer went above 20Β°F (it was -10Β°F yesterday), and we've already got 12"-15" of snow on the ground.
Add 12"-29".
THEN factor in an inexplicable temperature spike OF 42Β°F on Sunday night thru Monday.

Crazy shit, mang.
