What are you listening to?

I love big fat vocal harmonies and there were soooo many great vocal groups when I was growing up (and before!). I heard this on the local "museum of music" radio station.


and it got me thinking of this one too!
 
 
Listening to Albert tonight… sent this to my 14 year old grandson even though he is a Pantera type guitar player… trying to talk him into considering … gought him a guitar kit and he and his dad just finished the Fender i bought and sent to him when he got out of the hospital from scary back surgery. He is going back to school tomorrow

Maynard Ferguson-"Gonna Fly Now....." If you have never heard big trumpet give a listen. Maynard made trumpets do things they didn't believe they could do.

I saw him in person several times back in the day and the sheer power of his horn was just stunning.
