Baseball 2025

Yamamoto was a machine. How he went three innings was remarkable.

After pitching yesterday (Friday) you could see a couple of power leg buckles, for want of a better description, in his last two innings. Normally that would have left the pitch up in the zone but his motion, repetitive on all 8! or so different pitch’s, keeps the ball out of harms way.

Great series with a lot of success stories on both sides. Inserting Pages at CF made Robert’s look like a genius. Seemed like Ernie Clement was on base every other inning for the Jays. Vladdy 💪.

Baseball needed this series.

No… Go Mariners!

I agree BUT Seattle has some very difficult choices to make regarding free agency: Eugenio Suárez, Jorge Polanco, Caleb Ferguson, Luis Castillo, and Josh Naylor are free agents or can turn down extensions/options for more lucrative contracts. Seattle also has some minor league players showing a lot of promise. Will be interesting to watch what transpires...

Saw this earlier, hope they root it all out. Not quite sure how this worked, pitch shaving - these are bets pretty much made in real time, aren't they, ie, he's gonna throw a ball?

Makes me wonder how much gambling/cheating really goes on. More than I imagine...

AI will solve that ---> LOL.

Read about 5 articles on this yesterday. It appears Clase got more greedy (and stupid) by each windfall and decided he wanted in on the fun, and $$$. He was on a roll at one point throwing wagered non strikes when a batter chased ball four and struck out on a pitch in the dirt.
That “K” cost Clase $5K and also a lot of his “friends” beaucoup $$$. It’s not nice to screw over this type of friends. I believe eventually, like bad fruit, wagering on sports will rot it from within.

Gee, who could have seen this coming? I mean FanDuel, MGMBet, Draft Kings, Penn National Betting, etc bring so much fun and entertainment to family / sport engagement. It’s the S&P of the professional sports world. Sports & Poor 100! With the accent on Poor for most.
