Hilariously overpriced used item listings around the internet

An example from a listing I’ve been looking at:
“Yamaha F115 Four Stroke 2014
Up to date Maintenance. Mint condition.”

Ok sounds good… let’s keep reading…

“engine hours (total): 1100”

Ummm. Mint condition and 1100 hours?

I literally have 3 of these I bought at the Daiso store in Gresham. $1.75/ea at the store.

And calling these "Lazer Minnows" is a bit disingenuous. These aren't P-Line jigs.

This describes 99% of the boats I’m looking at on the used market.

Sorry pal, your beat to shit 1982 Evinrude w/ 2000 hours (or better yet, “unknown hours but runs like new!”) is not worth $10k.
Same here , been looking for a good used fishing boat in the 16-17 range . We have KSL Classifieds here in Utah , at any one time there is usually 1400 boats for sale . All types , and sizes . The biggest thing is that they are overpriced, and stay on there until their ad expires in 29 days , then you’ll see them list it again , same price . Condition is always suspect. I see them listed in excellent condition , and you can see in some of the pictures the seats coming apart or sun rotted , or a cracked motor cover etc etc .

Y'all should check out the regional/national aggregate sites for selling/trading acoustic string instruments. There's some awful proud owners out there sellin' some ugly babies.

Your campfire clapped out pre-(Gulf) war Sigma by Martin is not worth as much as an actual prewar D-18. Sorry.

'No lowballers, I know what I have here...'

Actually I don't, but some dumbass will read this and think I do.

;)

"Vintage" will get you only so far at least on Etsy's picks for fishing nets ($1299.99), "Antique" on the other hand will set you back $1800...better hurry because there is only one left and one on someone's cart already.

Sure looks like a 12 inch bait dipper

Won't name the dealer, but a certain firearms auction house in VA is notorious for overpricing their "estate sale" wares. Like a Steven's 311 side by side that retailed 50 years ago for @200 now listed for 1200... yeah right

I have half a dozen or so of these great bags in various stages of broken in. Maybe they'll be my retirement nest egg in 20 years.

During the pandemic lots of sales at absorbent prices occurred. Now, several years the prices are still up there. SMFH

Geez, I wonder what my grey nylon tub floor bass pro totes will be worth in 20 years ?

Wow... It's so funny to me that someone thinks anyone would PAY for something like this. Literally saying "hey, pay ME to haul my garbage away."
