I always am amused at people way, way over-valuing what they're selling. I get some may have sentimental value which inflates things in their mind, but that doesn't mean the buyer's going to know or care about any of that.
Then you just have the hard-headed "I KNOW WHAT I HAVE!" ones who just plain enjoy being willfully ignorant about the used market.
While I see things every day looking on Ebay, Craiglist, and Marketbplace, never thought to make a thread for us to share our similar findings. This ancient Garmin inspired me to get that going this morning.
I bet you'd have a hard time getting $27.50 for this thing. Especially considering you can get one of the newer small Striker units on the used market for about that price. From around 2007/2008, no navigation, no chirp, crappy display (and this one looks especially problematic on that part).
