Awesome Dogs of PNW

Well not sure if she is a fishing dog yet - I haven't taken her out, but here is Benny our new Golden Retriever pup that came from @dirty dog most recent litter. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and I can't wait to get her out on the water and I gain a new camp/fishing dog.

What a cute puppy! I wish you a lifetime of happiness with your new pup! Dogs are the best.

Rigby (lab/husky mix) sheds a lot. Today my new deshedding brush arrived in the mail and it works amazingly well! It reaches down below the top coat and grabs the underfur and takes it out. I'm very pleased with this $10 purchase and thought I'd share:

I use the FURminator which is more than twice the price. I wish I would have known about this one before purchasing the FURminator but that was about 10 years ago now.

Good dog'll get ya working tuff on them roads. That's how I measure a dog i measure a dog by how it works tuff!!! Good dog'll work tuff and eat tuff!!! BIG DOGS EAT!!! big dogs eat big. Good dogs get big by eating big then work tuff.

My Daughter also has a female. Very sweet, great family dog and keeps close tabs on the Grandkids. Also has a "big dog'" bark whenever someone/something that doesn't belong is around. Those harnesses are a godsend; the breed is immensely powerful.

Today we sadly had to say goodbye to our dearest and sweetest doggo, Rosey just shy of age 15. It's hard to write this, but it was her time. Keeping her alive much longer would be an insult to her and her memory. Goodbye our sweet friend, may we see you again someday.

I’m really sorry for the loss of Rosey. May you meet again.
