Just curious, are you running with a crew of 6?

I think the boat crew is 2-3. Boat takes 6 fishermen.

Got it. IDK why but on offshore charters they call the fishermen the crew and the employees are…Captain or Skipper and Deckhands. Out East they call them “mates” but over here it seems like they’re deckhands. I’m sure I will also be corrected as is only proper.

We used to refer to them (to simplify) as "Captain", "Crew" and "Passengers". Of course there are more terms used, such as, "night driver/co-captain", "cook/chef" "engineer", "deckhand" etc.. Just my two cents.
