Baseball 2025

Not a lot for holes in this lineup in this right now. Especially with Naylor and Geno joining the fray.
Kirby not bringing his best stuff so far, but it's fair to say he's getting good run support.

There is nothing quite like a nice, big, dump.

Go Ms!
big props to Young and Crawford for getting on base too, more of that kind of hitting from everyone please. Love how JP reacted to losing the leadoff spot... I'll set the table from the nine-hole thank you very much.

While there is a contingent in the big apple who might take exception if there is an MLB player more valuable to his team than the M's catcher I don't know who he is. It is fun being a fan of a really good guy.

Canzone, JP, Young is amazing at the bottom after what we’ve been seeing the last few years. Hopefully we get Robles back soon too. Dan lit the fire with JP…love to see him producing

Sadly I don't know who the hell you guys are talking about and assume they are all Mariners. MLB channel has not broadcast a minute of Mariner games to my area and I haven't seen them play for at least 3 years. I couldn't stand Dave Sims and hadn't watched them anyway but was encouraged when he left and had hoped to follow them a bit more. No such luck, I might as well be on the moon as far as Mariner broadcast are concerned.

However, I did get to see the battle of two HOF pitchers last night with Kershaw besting Sherzer in a good game at Dodger Stadium. Kersh is having a good year as long as he stays healthy but that has been a problem for him (all Dodger pitchers!) in recent years. For years I could rarely see a Dodger game on TV and they had the excellent Vin Scully doing the broadcast. Now that he is gone I see them almost every day but their broadcasting crew is very uneven ranging from just okay to awful. With over 70 games a week to choose from it is remarkable how few really good broadcasters there are. Each game usually has 2 feeds so you can pick the lesser of 2 evils but with ESPN and Fox the broadcasters are locked in so use of the mute button is the best alternative.

For my money, the Mets and the Giants have the best TV announcers. For commentators Jim Deshaies, Cubs and Bob Brenly, D-Backs are very good and Kruk, Phils is often entertaining. Favorite ingenues are Kirsten Watson of the Dodgers and Taylor McGregor of the Cubs.

Love watching Kershaw pitch. In this era of flamethrowers it's great to see a crafty technician drop Uncle Charlie from the stratosphere at 72mph and watch the hitter freeze like a goat staring at a new fence.

You could start here and see the video recap.

Or keep pretending that you don't have the entire world and all of it's knowledge at your finger tips.

19.99 a month for Root Sports for the race to the finish is another option.

Well edited feature I didn't know about. Thanks. The data overlay for dingers is cool. I didn't realize it was the Ichrio game, along with the broken bat lawn dart, and 17 pich battle. Things you don't notice in the box score.

Dodgers are on a 5 game streak right now .....Good for them
and the rest of us.
