River was running low and glacial/clear, but overnight rain had me nervous. Combed 2 miles of water to find a few players, this being the best. Another species on the @Evan B airflo special!

Agreed. I’ve caught skinnier, but he didn’t have much of a belly

We have native bull trout in my home river here in NW Montana, they do quite well attacking all the small bait fish and any rainbows or squawfish that get in their zone. We're not supposed to target them but some carry a streamer rod in the driftboat and swing the deeper holes with streamlined 6-8" bunny flys with predictable results
