There's a meat and fish butcher shop in Fall City that's awesome! I wanted to buy everything in there!Looks good. Where did you find the brisket stuffed, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers?

I went in looking for an elk steaks. They had elk stew meat, but no elk or venison steaks..Fall City Meats & Seafood. They’re a great butcher shop. I buy steaks there occasionally.
I went to Golden Steer in Redmond earlier in the week, but they wanted $32 a pound for elk steaks, which looked fantastic! I passed. I talked with the owner and said they don't bother with venison, as it has to come from New Zealand! The last time I was in the Farmhouse Market, the grocery store in Fall City, they had elk steaks but they were prepackaged and from New Zealand. I passed on them.

If you don’t want it, can I have your schmaltz? The darkest broth I've made. Will skim the fat of tomorrow evening or when i use it!

I must be part dog (in fact my wife does compare my sense of smell to a dog's) because the food pics in this thread look great to me. For the regular and occasional posters - keep 'em coming! Most pictures are taken from the same angle with marginal light conditions and end up looking like dog food instead of elegant cuisine.
Are we talking about how they taste? Or what we feed them? LOL!Some dogs eat pretty well I guess...
