Ha! I thought I was the only one who got one.Currently performing a kitchen refresh with all new appliances and quartz counters, knew I had some major cardboard to deal with, so picked up this zip cutter which goes through cardboard like a hot knife through butter.

Funny you should ask that and post a photo of this one.I’d like to get a new knife for cleaning beach coho. Here is my current one, which is 7” long in length which works well for size fitting in my pack. The clip has rusted off due to saltwater.
Any recommendations for a small, saltwater safe knife?

I picked up this knife a couple years back and really like it. I haven;t cleaned a fish with it yet but it has a slender "bird and trout" type of profile.I’d like to get a new knife for cleaning beach coho. Wouldn't you want more of a fillet knife? Or is this just to bleed and gut the fish? Then put in a cooler and fillet at home...Funny you should ask that and post a photo of this one.
I just ordered the following saltwater-safe knife for my own beach cleaning needs. Very similar to what you have, but rust proofier?: Spyderco Pacific Salt 2
Edit: Forgot part of the name.
No fillet knife needed to slash gills and pull the guts, plus they're awkward to carry around.Wouldn't you want more of a fillet knife? Or is this just to bleed and gut the fish? Then put in a cooler and fillet at home...
I obviously don't keep many fish!No fillet knife needed to slash gills and pull the guts, plus they're awkward to carry around.
You ought to--they're delicious. Even pinks (quickly bled and smoked) and chum (cooked chum makes great dog food).I obviously don't keep many fish!
