WA. State DNR Failure Being Rectified

Well, in support of Brian, there is this

This happened in Kuwait

And, if I believe this, they tried to make a reef out of this mess

So, yeah, the term "Junk Science" might be more palatable than crapshoot, but if you don't know, you don't know. So now we gotta clean up another mess.

Anyone know of a good solution without throwing more rocks at each other?

The real question ---> what is the state going to do with the 100,000 tires they bring up from the bottom of Puget Sound?

Yeah, remove them.
Oh wait.
Matt, I know you're being silly, but think about it.
Every time we run into something like this, we end up with a cycle of :

"We have to do this because......."

"Why'd you allow it in the first place?"

"You suck!! You don't understand how this works!"

"No you suck because you won't admit you didn't know how it works and did it anyway!"

And on and on without a viable solution. We can't landfill them, and they're too old and sea water damaged to recycle, so, what's the right step forward on this ?

My short and silly response was based on:

1) Nobody is throwing rocks in here. This is just a discussion with some varying points of view being expressed. I understand that any sort of conflict makes some people uncomfortable. I think we're all cool. Mostly. :)
2) I did not realize the removed tires cannot be put in a landfill.
3) ^if that's true, hell I don't know what to with them, this is way out of my limited knowledge area.

Yeah, I'm right there with ya. Not trying to single you out about anything. Your response was a great segue for me to snarkiliy ask how we're gonna handle this in a rational and adult manner. Sorry if I offended you.

Dude. No. There was nothing to be offended by.
Thanks
