Been too long since I TALKED TIRES at LES SCHWAB. always used to head in Saturday morning, always guys in there talking tires. Get some coffee going!! Talking tires at LES SCHWAB!!! When they would put a big rig up on the raiser, I'd say allow me to step in and tell you what the deal is in terms of your PURCHASING POWER. They had the free popcorn!!!

Good thing Schwab does free flat repairs. That one might need two or three plugs.

I will never darken the door at any Les Schwab ever again.

Free beef was the best deal. When I lived near Prineville the beef was extra fresh. The tires were good in those days too.

I never got the free beef, it was before my time. But I remember the TV ads. How many pounds of meat would they give you for buying a set of new tires?

I also remember a competitor's (maybe Discount Tire) ad that stated "If you got free beef, you paid too much!"

I have had plenty of good experiences at Schwab but feel the same after an experience at the Twisp Les Schwab. My wife took her Mom's car into the Twisp Les Schwab to swap from snows to summers and was told the tires were too worn to be swapped but they could sell her new ones for $1200. She pointed out that the tires were still 3-4mm above the wear bars and the guy working there said: "we have a special tool we use instead of the wear bars that is more accurate" My wife responded with "Your special tool is more accurate than a ruler?" After some floundering from the Schwab guy she wound up take the tires home and got someone else to remount them.

By the way, don't drink the Les Schwab coffee, it tastes like burnt tires.

Any Schwab or Discount is only as good as the employees...the one in PT isn't all that great from what i hear, while the one in Sequim gets better reviews from the locals out this way.

WA Ferries also had some awful burnt tire coffee brew for many years. No free beef either, but many stalls.

McDonald's has pretty clean bathrooms and they are located next to an entry so you can come and go easily.

If we’re gonna talk poopers…the public toidy in Concrete is pretty decent.

The down side is it doesn’t open til 7a so it might be pushing it, time-wise, if you’re trying to beat the rest of the crowd to your super secret fishin’ hole.
