I'm only going for the chow and comradery...and beers in coffee mugs...One thing to keep in mind when the event gets closer: we really need to spread the word to get some others to show up. A bunch of dudes getting together who are all trying to offload gear to other guys trying to offload gear may lead to disappointment
Beers can be in beer mugs at the group site (so long as everyone is on their best behavior).
As with any fine antique, I don't believe the patina of this particular item should in any way be covered or altered, it will only devalue what should be a highly desirable product for trade.

I’m hoping to make this event and have been thinking about a trout-Spey setup for my local river. Would love to get some info and/or experience with it.
Trust me, Jerry never disappoints! All the events I’ve attended where he was taking care of the food were fabulous and no one went hungry.

Okay, I expect to be sitting in my lounger with a food coma, listening to you all banter.
The flat between the boat launch and the group site is a good muskie spot. And the corner right there at the group site is actually a pretty good trout spot. Both are totally accessible with a float tube or pontoon from launch, swim area or even right there in the group site. If it's cool the ski traffic may not be too bad. If it's hot, it will be busy.
I've put it on my calendar. I also have a Mayfly Project outing that day, but I'll try to show up Saturday afternoon just in time for the 5 course Jerry meal.
If things go really well I might bring my boat to fish for those stupid musky Sunday morning. My folks live in Mossyrock so I'd probably just crash at their place.

We have some hats still. Just a matter of funds mostly. With the minimums required for most things, it's really hard to make our money back.
Swim area and musky spot in the same zone is a hilarious thought.
I want to see Randy pull a 48"er out 20 feet from a family flapping away in the floaties in see their reaction.
I caught a nice one right in front of the swimming area in our local spot. Jumped right among the paddle boarders, too.
