As an angler, you must know that you need to cast your line where the fish are. Not everyone is going to click on this thread. (Not sure what it says about all of us who are here) Anyway, maybe post in the Puget Sound thread.

Great point, maybe it’s time to hit the next hole (not that this thread needs more innuendo). In fishing terms this is also a case of using way unnecessarily complicated tackle for the task. I could just ask my book clubber to get his number from his book clubber. But of course as a stupid fly fisher I’ve gone and turned this into a boondoggle. I guess I just love getting skunked.

Yeah I mean I get it. That’s basically euronymphing, deliver it right to his face, and not everybody’s into that, but it is inarguably efficient.
