What are you listening to?

I love the music of the melody, until it sounds just like a symphony. That’s why I go for that rock and roll music
"until it sounds just like a symphony" - huh!* I too love me a lot of rock and roll but tonight as my wife and I were working a jigsaw puzzle, we were listening to classical music, that symphony stuff. Mozart's Requiem in D minor came on; I won't bore you with the link but we had to stop workin' the puzzle for a few minutes during part of that masterpiece.

Maybe it's a Port Townsend thing? (Sequimite here). ;-)

Changed my mind:

This guy doesn’t have any Sabbath on his channel but there is some Metallica, Tool, Rage and more. But I really dig this version of DM’s “Enjoy the Silence.”

Reqium D reinterpreted.

Hendrix is rumored to have said this guitarist was the best he’d ever heard… Terry Kath of Chicago Transit Authority.

The live version…

The Terry Kath Experience, 2016, is a good watch for anyone interested. His daughter put it together. Remembering back, his overall story and death weren't necessarily new, but she went well into a lot of the small details. I particularly enjoyed her following back some of the more notable equipment and memorabilia, especially the "Maico" Tele, his main guitar.

I was not aware of this, thank you.

Thanks for sharing this, I'm going to watch it.

Kath has been rediscovered and someone of dicussion for the last decade or so. I was never a fan of Chicago was aware of the terrible and sensationalized way Terry Kath died. Prominent performers receive accolades as the best . Hendrix purportedly praised Terry Kath and the “ask Rory Gallagher” from musical anecdote history.
