Thrift Shop Find. PNW Fly Fishing

I moved this past summer and found this trio of books I found about 8 years ago at the thrift store.

I think it came from professional fly there, Arlington, WA resident, Joe Butorac.

I shared this on the other PNW website years ago, but it’s cool enough to share again.

Les Johnson signed all 3 books,
Mark & Less signed their tube fly book to Joe, thanking him for his fly contributions.

Hats off the PNW Flyfisher from our recent past! So much knowledge these generations shared with us, many on the local forums.

I had a steady supply from PFF for Pass once upon a time. I suppose if I hadn't left for Ohio 6 yrs ago these would be gone. Still living in my tube (for bass!).

Thanks for that reminder. I had a lot of informative conversations with Joe. He made more than a few thoughtful observations about fishing. And not just fly fishing; he was a really productive salmon fisherman as well.
