Pic 1 is version 1 of a jigged comet style fly targeting coho/steelhead. I had a fish on the line with it and also a grab or two throughout the day. The 2nd fly is version 2 of the same concept and I hope to try it soon.

How do you like the BS’s? I tied a couple but haven’t fished em enough to form an opinion

Simple Carp Fly

The carp in central Montana don’t seem to be picky; be as creative or basic as you like.

hook - WFC Model 16 #6
thread - Uni 6/0 camel
eyes - medium bead chain gold
tail - pheasant rump fluff
body - Simi Seal crawdad
shoulder - pheasant rump w/fluff
head - pheasant aftershaft (loop dubbed)

Hook: TMC 9394 #6
Thread: white then olive at the head
Eyes: 1/8” Real Eyez
Tail: white CF (craft fur)
Body: shrimpy pink flat braid + red simiseal
Wing: polar flash + white CF + olive CF + baitfish Angel Hair

The Dungeon’s dubbing is a bit buggier than straight Ice Dub on the first version.
