Wading jacket?

My Orvis Pro is super solid, fits well, and has a bunch of great features. I think I'm going on 6ish years on that one....minus the issue below.


do any rain jackets? All three rain jackets (only one fishing specific) that I own have this issue. Yeah, I have that same issue which luckily is more annoying than anything else.

My 6 years in the jacket is likely far less trips than one year for you....me, being a weekend warrior and all. Then again, sitting in my stealth pro musky fishing in heavy rain for 7-8 hours with no canopy for cover is a pretty good test in and of itself.

I have had great luck with the flyweight Simms. It's called Geoshell or something like that. I've had it since 2018 or 2019 and it's still keeping me dry. It's very simple. It only has vertical chest pockets, but pockets any lower would just fill with water on deep wades anyway.
I like it because it packs pretty small in a gear bag or backpack, but is still pretty tough.
