Well said!!! People do not understand how intrusive FB is into one's privacy and how much they make selling off the data. The data harvesting tools should be banned from digital devices....
 
I've read this thread and am a bit :unsure: Is there another group out there in electronic land known as PNW Fly Fishing? Is it on FB (I'm not a member) or something? Doesn't it matter?

No clue what this thread is about.

The OP and another new signed up member here informed us that they have a Facebook group called PNW Fly Fishing. According to them, 10yrs ago they started out as a forum, but since moved to Facebook. We own pnwflyfishing.com and registered in the state of oregon under our current name. We also own multiple other domains with pnwflyfishing as all the major ones were available. All the things you need to do to protect your name.

100%. But also what is different about us is that we're clear how this place is funded. Your data isn't our product. It's obvious that it ISN'T free to run a site like this. Even if the support of some folks allows it to be free for everyone else.

Paid supporter or not, all are welcome here. But without those who financially support the site, it couldn't exist.
