SFR Eruption of Mt. Adams

Sorta fishing-related
Some odd odors drifted through there too …. 🤔

Sulfur? Smell of sulfur crystallizing before eruption?

Well that's not ideal. Hope it's just grumbling and not doing anything too crazy.

This sounds familiar. They've always said she could blow again at any time ....

Lots of earthquakes recently near Enetai, WA. Related?

Sweet bring it on, love me some volcano drama!

If a St Helens type eruption were to take place, I would be nervous about living in Trout Lake. The amount of sand that came out of St. H. might make Bonneville dam a sediment fixture.

Entertaining?

In 2018:

716 homes destroyed
3000 displaced
250 million in damages
Over 25 million in Farms losses.
Over 400 million of tourists dollar gone.

At least you are entertained.
Not to mention decades of respiratory and eye issues from persistent vog…

It wasn’t meant to make light of the devastation an active volcano can incur…like many long time residents, we have learned to live with it.

Making light of others problems is kinda uncool, but I will say that if it were not for these eruptions there would be no place to build homes and businesses in the mid pacific. Blessing and a curse, but mostly blessing.
