What are you listening to?

That was a fun video, Brian. I can remember cranking up the stereo on 25 or 6 to 4 quite a few times.

Terry Kath could certainly lay it down. It’s a shame we never got to see what else he might have done.
Here is another one you might enjoy.
SF

They were a much grittier band when he was in it.

What's the name of the lady doing the intro? I want to say Eartha Kitt, but that doesn't seem right...
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

from the title on YT

Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 - Mas que nada (introduced by Eartha Kitt / Something Special 1967)

Mr. Miller beat me to it, Yes Ms Eartha Kitt indeed.

cheers

I also like the Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 more orchestrated version of the Burt Bacharach and Hal David song Look of Love from 1968.

(The radio version sung by Dusty Springfield a year earlier was a combo arrangement until strings were added in the outtro.)

Mendes also had a pop hit in 1983 with Never Gonna Let You Go.
"Record producer Rick Beato called "Never Gonna Let You Go" "the most complex pop song of all time", due to its use of frequent key changes, inverted chords and unusual chord progressions."

Well i missed the part introducing her by viewing on my phone. But this tells me my memory isn't as bad as I thought it was. And, I still think she was the best Cat Woman.

I also confuse Sergio as the band leader with Astrid Gilberto singing The Girl From Ipenema.

Gesu Cristo I'm old..

Played this song for pep band…
Was a favorite of mine, especially since the alto sax had a main part.

Something different: I removed the other one by Charlie Daniels out of respect.
