One of mt favorite musicians who crosses several music genres:

My middle school band instructor was named Ms. Riddle. We used to make up lyrics to the songs we had to play. They usually had Ms. Riddle as the main character. I can remember some of them. They weren't very nice.

My wife and daughter (both big Metallica fans) said the second night had the best live version of One that they had ever heard!
It was VERY good. They were on point both nights.

August solo trip to the Buffalo Jump country still has me on Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. I’ve been fishing early Fenwick graphite, circa ‘74-‘75, which I’ve seen described as ‘thoroughly modern.’ 50 years isn’t all that long, really.

I saw them play with the San Francisco Symphony one night. That version of One was pretty interesting. I was kinda roped into the show, but enjoyed it. If they have the chance to go to one of those I’d recommend it.

I love how there's so much going on in these horn lines and how they are "layered" with the rhythm section's and background vocals' "accompaniment" with a just a touch of vocal "call and response" to compliment the lead vocal melody

The Spinners' Philly Soul arrangement is cool too but not near as much going on behind the lead vocal.
