I saw it too…thought it was good until the end. The concept is a stretch, but having a bunch of crazed Eastern European baddies attached to the Secret Service detail was a bridge too far.

What I'm really excited for is the second season of The Old Man, with Jeff Bridges.

The Boy and the Heron, finally free on HBO. Miyazaki's latest, and probably last, animated film. All of the Studio Ghibli movies are great!

I just finished Turning Point: The Bomb And The Cold War. Fascinating documentary series explaining the time between WWII and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Just finished watching the 3-season series Loudermilk on Netflix. Set in Seattle, a recovering alcoholic is a counselor for other recovering addicts. It was a good look into that world, with its own odd humor.

I have lived in that world. I have been alcohol free for 38 years. There is lots of humor,
and sometimes great sadness in recovery. Anyone suffering with addiction I urge you to
check options available.

Dune part 1 the new version of Frank Herbert's on Prime streaming. The computer graphics were da bomb and really nice acting by familiar faces. Part one was free with subscription, guess I will have to fork out some $$$$ for Dune part 2. Will have to watch part 2 soon, thank goodness not much blood and gore.

There's a bit more blood and gore in Part 2! It's a great remake, I think!
