Never had much interest in the Olympics 50 years ago, and have even less nowadays.

Watchin' ain't doin'.

Yup...did my share of protected rock and ice climbing in my youth...so I have some appreciation of Honnold's appetite for risk...but no interest in most olympic sports. Even the speed climbing seems contrived...kinda like competitive flyfishing.

Maybe my endorphins simply don't kick in during couch potato mode. My bad. 😁

I don’t think Tatum, Durant & Edwards are very much alike role-wise…if I have to chose between the three to take the last shot in any game, clearly it’s Durant…the most athletic of the three is Edwards…but I think Tatum is the better defender & rebounder of them, and I wished he played more during the games…

It will be interesting to see if Kerr chooses Tatums length and rebounding over Edwards athleticism against Framce and their twin towers.

Interesting that both the men’s and women’s teams are playing France for the gold medal.

I think Tatum will get some court time…he matches well against France…and I suspect Gobert may see less time as I feel he’s a liability on offense…and France will need to score
 
You know you are a tall dude when you stand next to Gobert and he looks small next to you…can’t imagine how good this young Wemby will be when he puts a few pounds of muscle on…
 
Just watched the women's 4x400 relay. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone ran the second leg and gave the US team about a 30m lead. I took screen shot of last leg. Sorry for it being blurry, but you can just make out the 2nd place runner on the right.

I watched that race…she gave us such a huge lead that we could have run the last leg backwards…I felt bad for Ireland as they got nudged off the podium down the stretch
