NFR NFL 2023 Season

Lynch has been great in SF chosing to re-sign the big names to contracts and letting be rate players go. He has nailed a bunch of low picks but flailed pretty much every high pick
flailed on first rounders Nick Bosa, Javon Kinlaw, Brandon Aiyuk, Mike McGlinchey, and second rounder Deebo Samuel? flailed on the trade for the best RB in the league, Christian McCaffrey?
Trey Lance? Stage proved too big, happens all the time, half dozen first round QB's benched this year alone...so off to Dallas he went for a draft pick and salary dump.
Niner fans sincerely hope Lynch continues to stay with us and keep on flailing...

Trey Lance? Over the 2021, 2022 and 2023 drafts, the 49ers traded 12th, 29th, 101st and 29th picks for the privilege of taking Lance. One of those picks was used to choose Micah Parsons, one of football's best defensive players.

Kinlaw has been a bust so far, which is why they didn't pick up his option next year. He's playing well this year but will likely walk.

Trey sermon? Davis-Price? 3rd rounders cut in their second year.

Moody may work out in the long run but pretty clear they over paid for him at this point. Look at Dallas's kicker.

Conversely, they are insanely good with their 3rd or later round picks. Not to speak of the Mr Irrelevant pick....

Trust, no complaints about Lynch. Part of the GM/Coach relationship is creating a culture, and clearly they have done that. It just seems like they have missed on some high picks while nailing lower picks. Which given the salary cap is a good thing.

Should be interesting to see what they have to pay the game managing system QB Purdy next year. I mean, they could probably grab cousins/garrapolo/carr for a bit less....

any guesses what Payton was screaming at Wilson after red zone disaster? RW's gonna need to wipe the spittle off his helmet with a towel. Why the hell didn't the Broncs challenge at least one of those spots

great defensive game plan....worked great! 🤮 🤮 🤮

I would be curious to know why Sean chewed out Russ yesterday. There was two plays before hand that really appear to be touchdowns and then the offensive offsides was ticky tack. What more could Russ have possibly done? It's up to Sean to throw the challenge flag. Or have the balls to go for it on forth down, down 14 or whatever they were down.

The common theory is that Russ went from the failed first down, (which may have actually been a touchdown) to line up again too quickly for the team to review the play quickly to see if they wanted to throw the red flag.

I've seen more offensive offsides in the last two weeks than I have in the past two decades.

Who knows? Shoulda challenged both of the earlier plays, "offsides" if you even call it that was super lame....maybe coulda changed momentum? 🤷‍♂️. Shoulda woulda woulda.....Broncos still got smoked.

On first down I think the guy spun around and the ball crossed the line. On second down the runner's knee was down before the ball crossed, plain as day. On third down they let the guy with the big head play. That first down should have been red flagged.

I also saw a very obvious head to head hit on third down that should have been flagged. Bad calls go both ways. Broncos just got out played and couldn't cover anyone. Defense got carved up pretty good.

That's kinda my point (however poorly I worded it 😆).

As a fan of a particular team, one is always going to focus on those types of little misses here and there, but ultimately, Broncos got their asses kicked. Final score showed it.

Goff was masterful last night.
yeah, that was pretty ridiculous...

gotta get pressure on that guy....we didn't (couldn't--even with extra blitzing).

DK's Sign Language overview:

Payton isn't who I'm worried about.

I've gotta say though, thus far on Sunday, even the RedZone channel isn't super entertaining....thus far.

Bears-Browns was a good game...
Totally agree. I found myself watching that game far more than the RedZone...a rarity when my team isn't playing.
