New York media is loving the shots that they can take at him and the Patriots. Hell, everyone is piling on when the subject arises. He's a prickly guy and a lot of people dislike him.
Good teams change coaches less. It is beneficial to have the same coach/ system for as long as is practical. Seattle, Pittsburgh, KC, Baltimore etc. are doing it right. The upheaval that a coach/ GM change represents sets franchises back. New systems require different types of players. 3-4 vs 4-3 systems, small zone blocking type lines vs. running power type stuff etc. Fortunately for my beloved Patsies, they are so bad right now (at least on offense) that a change can't actually make them worse. Whoever comes in will at least have some defensive talent to work with as well as a metric shit ton of cap space. Hopefully they don't turn into a team that wins free agency every year.

There have been a few qbs who got bit by the career injury bug. One of the best (if healthy may have been included in the greatest column) was Steve Bartkowski , big strong armed CAL qb. When healthy he was a gem of a qb. Imho.
