Awesome Dogs of PNW

Reading something like this always brings back some pain but a good many more smiles and memories. The special ones always find a way of embedding themselves in our souls. While we give to them a portion of our lives they give to us all of theirs. Great photos and a fitting tribute. I share your sorrow.

not a dog, I repeat, not a dog....but a new addition to the family. My kid decided to name this little fuzzball, Steve.

"When we get a dog it won't be allowed on the furniture and stays downstairs".
A guy stopped by to give me a work estimate back when Hank was still a pup. Hank jumped-up on the couch where his dog blanket was spread. Said the guy: "I'll be damned if that dog would get on my furniture." My response? "Not your dog, not your couch, not your house. And you are damned. Leave. Now."
