Sorry for your loss Jim, I share your feelings as our Ruby crossed the great divide on October 6. She wasn’t the smartest dog I ever had but her love and sweetness will be missed.

Reading something like this always brings back some pain but a good many more smiles and memories. The special ones always find a way of embedding themselves in our souls. While we give to them a portion of our lives they give to us all of theirs. Great photos and a fitting tribute. I share your sorrow.

A guy stopped by to give me a work estimate back when Hank was still a pup. Hank jumped-up on the couch where his dog blanket was spread. Said the guy: "I'll be damned if that dog would get on my furniture." My response? "Not your dog, not your couch, not your house. And you are damned. Leave. Now."
