You forgot to mention 2nd easiest remaining schedule. What's with you Seattle "fans", 8-game win streak, best record in baseball since July 1, within 1 game of first place in your division, not to mention one of the most exciting young players in the game

Depends on the degree of the tear and if he's going to elect for surgery if it's in the gray area. With surgery at the conclusion of the season I imagine it costs him $100 mil over 10 years, so $50M/year instead of 60.Wonder how much money Ohtani's injury is going to cost him?
Does it make him more or less likely to resign with the Angels?
I mean, even as a batter the guy is gonna get PAID. So I'm not weeping for him. It's just a shame to see a genuinely cool story come to an end like that.Depends on the degree of the tear and if he's going to elect for surgery if it's in the gray area. I think it'd be 2 years. If he has TJ he won't pitch next year so would need the following for that. I could see a long term deal at lower AAV with player opt out after 2.I mean, even as a batter the guy is gonna get PAID. So I'm not weeping for him. Wonder if he takes a chance on a one year deal to show teams he's back together and then hits free agency again?
