Northeast Seattle Little League team is looking pretty strong - good luck!!!

cheers

What's with you Seattle "fans", 8-game win streak, best record in baseball since July 1, within 1 game of first place in your division, not to mention one of the most exciting young players in the game .... crickets!!!!

Seems I'm rooting harder for them than you ;)

Cheers and good luck the rest of the way!!!!!!!

Once bitten twice shy, perhaps.

Personally, I've been all in since June of last year. There's a reason the schedule is 162 games, sometimes it takes a while for the true quality of teams to differentiate. They are playing with a ton of confidence and rhythm and caring only about their teammates and winning. It's very enjoyable to watch.

Who do these guys think they are? No give up in this dugout. Multiple choice question. Who wants to face the M's right now? Answer... D. None of the above.
Edit: Well crap. What a weird way to lose. Funny game, baseball.

Astros lost, Blue Jays lost, Rangers loosing in the 7th. Take care of business tonight and tomorrow we will be reading about the 1st place Seattle Mariners. Who'd a thunk it!! Go M's.

Wonder how much money Ohtani's injury is going to cost him?

Does it make him more or less likely to resign with the Angels?

Depends on the degree of the tear and if he's going to elect for surgery if it's in the gray area. With surgery at the conclusion of the season I imagine it costs him $100 mil over 10 years, so $50M/year instead of 60.

I mean, even as a batter the guy is gonna get PAID. So I'm not weeping for him. It's just a shame to see a genuinely cool story come to an end like that.

Wonder if he takes a chance on a one year deal to show teams he's back together and then hits free agency again?

I think it'd be 2 years. If he has TJ he won't pitch next year so would need the following for that. I could see a long term deal at lower AAV with player opt out after 2.
