I think they have a good team.
I don't believe to much in Rodgers in NYC. I suspect that he will get himself into controversy. Buffalo is good but their coach is a damned fool idiot. Allen is something else and gives the Pats fits by extending plays. The Bills just seem to be ready to implode though.
Miami is talented. Gotta wonder if that QB will survive though. I'm betting no. Poor guy probably should retire, honestly.
I like the Pats chances. The defense could be really really good. This is the most talented and deepest defense that I have seen in NE since their last superbowl. Sorry
@DimeBrite The secondary is exceptionally versatile. They are smart too. The D-line is big and powerful and they have added speed all over compared to where they were 2 years ago. They will confuse a lot of QB's......not just Jared Goff and Zach Wilson. I can see Allen and Rodgers struggle with figuring out what they are doing.
The offense will be better. It was truly awful last year and they were 8-9. They scored like 6 defensive and special teams TD's. There were games (jets) where the defense and special teams won the game because the offense was so bad. The whole Patricia/ Judge deal was a complete failure. They had to take out all play action last year because the coaches could not coach it. Bill O'Brien will get them to execute. Trent Brown came into camp early. If he is ready to play the line could be excellent. No more 370 lb players running outside zone runs. He should bring out the best in Jones too. They seem to actually like each other. There is a chance that the Pats trade for another receiver too. They have plenty of cap room.
If they get the Mac Jones of 2021 (and why wouldn't they) and the defense plays as it should, I think the win 11 or 12. When BB has defensive talent like this, he really tends to maximize it. That offense was awful last year. They won't be this year.
