Rain

Tuesday...
😁😁😁

Sick of spending an hour plus each day watering the plants.
Try 2 people watering 2 hours a day each...and letting the lawn die.
Frankly it is the easiest thing I do all day, but the doing it early part wears on me.
Mornings are no longer my thing, and honestly neither are late nights.

For all of you complaining about watering, install an irrigation system! It was the best investment I made. Drip irrigate all flower beds and non lawn related trees and shrubs, it only waters the individual plant, not broadcasting to areas where water is wasted(bark, rock, sidewalks, etc...) Turf grass areas are quickly and efficiently watered. Most controller are based off Wi-Fi so you can adjust your watering regiment from anywhere. Less time watering = More time fishing

This^^^

I have the lawn and three raised bed gardens on our irrigation system. It's amazing what kind of micro and drip irrigation sprinklers are available for gardens and plants. Plus, adds, moves and changes are easy as you change things around. If you think anything worth engineering is worth over-engineering, a sprinkler system will suit you fine.

I put my sprinkler system in years ago, so no WIFI controller for me. However, my controller has twelve different zones and is Y2K compliant. I'll still sit in the lawn chair and drink that beer, though.

Now if I can only get one of those automated lawn mowers...

Unless you planted a tree or shrub within the past 2 years, they need a good water only once per week unless a heat wave hits. Annuals and perennials need it a couple times per week. Plants in hanging baskets or pots dry out fast, so 3-4 times per week.

No rain here but I’m loving the marine layer. I hope it sticks around….until at least Tuesday. πŸ˜‰

No rain here yet, just partly cloudy and cooler than the weekend.
This whole '' it's gonna rain '' thing is fake news I think.

Got a very brief shower here just before 8 AM.

Brief is unfortunate when you are hoping for substantial and prolonged. πŸ˜‚
