Those spawn eyes are the chef's kiss to these flies.Something medium sized for Baja beach walking.....I'll probably take a few markers down with me too....match the hatch!

Damn! Someone else figured out it's waaaay easier to tie egg loops in a fly tying vise. There goes my 15 minutes of fame.
I'm still gonna keep my slip rig for a whole herring rig and rigging close to the vest.
