I still care...
Thought I'd take a few minutes and post my first "non-classified" message... Like many others, I'm also on the other site and at the urging of "Buzzy," decided to join here. Let's face it, one can't have too much of a good thing! As my avatar might show, I was a Seattle cop way back in the mid '70's and lasted for almost 33 years. After pulling the plug in '06, I became a teen driving instructor for the next 10 years (9-1-1 Driving School) and were maybe some of the best years of my life. Physical issues forced me to hang it up and so I flagged traffic the next 7 years and fully retired after burning through 7 of my 9 lives. My first catch on a fly was at 14 years old, on a Royal Coachman in the Cedar River. Since then, my new passion has not wained one bit. Thousands of equipment dollars later, I fish when I can and have been painting fish and fishing scenes on rocks for the past 30 years. Most works have been donated to my club's annual banquet auction; proceeds go to Methow Aero Rescue, a great, important organization. My love for this pastime is hopefully represented in a couple of the attachments to follow... stay safe out there!
