With a total catch limit of six fish, the Black Lake sturgeon season lasted just 35 minutes on Saturday morning, Feb. 5, according to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. It started at 8 a.m., and anglers were packing up their gear by 8:36 a.m. after 11-year-old Andrew Maltby caught the sixth fish to close out the season.....
