You just starting lake fishing?

I’d put this in the “pay it forward thread”, but I’m hoping there’s better chance they’d go to someone who fishes lakes here.

I’m cleaning out my boat bag. Anyone need or know someone that could use lake flies to help them get started.
They are a random mixture of used, prototype, what was I thinking, cruddy and a few good ones.

There’s close to 60 flies. If you could use them or know someone that could, let me know. I’ll send them to you free. They aren’t great, but they are free-

Thread of the month and a breath of fresh air compared to certain others elsewhere. THANK YOU for setting such a good example around here and...there's no such thing as a bad lake fly.

@Paul_, Received your flies this evening. My oldest granddaughter and I did an initial sort, and I provided a brief description and explanation regarding each fly. She is re-sorting into containers according to her own logic and from what she has learned along the way! She loves it! I'll provide her a flybox of her own for taking on the boat.

She will take the lead in sharing with my other granddaughter and my grandson. They recently moved to Arizona, but come up to visit. We have a long history of fishing together, both with gear and trolling with flylines.

Flycasting is now gently being introduced. Their ages btw are 23(recent Husky grad, so proud), 15, 13.

Thank you for your generosity!
