YETI "A thousand casts"

When I was a kid I read an article on Bhutan and the incredible high elevation treks from isolated village to village. Rich in buddist tradition a tiny country fighting the influences of the west. I always wanted to visit and take a break from this society.

I haven't watched the full thing but it saddens me a little to see Yeti make a video exploiting it to be honest...

Antarctica is still waiting to be exploited by bearded flyfishing bros...
Funny you say that... In 1991, I was on an National Science Foundation research trip to Palmer Station on the Antarctic Peninsula and I did bring a fly rod (and a beard...) with me. I figured that any icefish that I could catch on a fly would be an IGFA record, likely to last for a LOOONG time.;) But I had not accounted for the impact of the ice on the nearshore environment. I would need to be fishing down 30+ feet to reach water that hadn't been scoured by icebergs and winter ice scour. If I could go back again, I think that I would have a better shot...

wow! that was cool. I know of that lodge and of Akerman and pinnacle capital from my trading. The video adds humanism to both.
