I didn’t take it that way at all! It’s a totally reasonable question. I would rather a person ask, gather opinions and perspectives and form their opinion rather than come to a judgement one way or the other without questioning.Apologies, I didn’t mean to stir the pot.
It’s been legal as long as I can remember…certainly pre 2005. I think it was just assumed to be illegal as that’s the case for every other big game animal and bird.
Honestly to me it sounds like the neighbor should have minded his own business. There was no trespassing occurring so yelling over what are you doing is borderline hunter harassing. I get looking out for your neighbors and all that but this guy even set cameras up and caught a nothing burger.Was the neighbor baiting the bull so he could get the sheds? Without the neighbor baiting the bull it may not have been harvested. No note that the bull was eating the archers bait. Archer only put the bait out the day before it was harvested. Lots of questions.
