A good day on Oahu. A few follows, popped off on one about 30’ away and a nice reward. Always a TOUGH beach to fish, but big Bones. Now nap time before the redeye home.

A few years ago I was working over Turkey Day, conditions were ugly, so all blind casting, end up landing a 30” bone… thing scared me as I pulled it up next to my leg. Same area. They’re super spooky on this beach.

Great job combining work with flats fishing. Oahu has some nice bonefish!
A confirmed 30" fork length bonefish would weigh ~16 pounds, near the all-time IGFA record for sharpjaw bones.
