Women’s World Cup 2023

As a former goalkeeper, that one hurt.

Helluva shot, but a mistake by the 'keep not to see that coming, especially with her height.
Scored three goals from kicking the corner…was bending it before Beckham.

Use to go around the corner of a building about 3’ft back and bend a ball into a 4’ft wide gap about 30’ft away. My brother used to hate playin a game of soccer horse with me because I could do this shot consistently.

Gee, lot of folks here who "don't care/won't watch" still posting.

It's okay, other people can enjoy something you don't enjoy. You don't have to take a dump on it to let us all know you don't like it.
So you dump on us for not enjoying something others do…🤔🤔🤔

I have two sisters that were collegiate athletes, neither watch their sport but they’ll watch male golf and basketball. (And football but that was not their sport nor is there a female counter.)

This example almost holds marketing constant as passion for the sport is the driving factor. Even with that passion they watch the male version 9/10. And in general this is what I find amongst the majority.

A good example is going to an automotive race. People want to watch the fastest, no matter the gender. Growing up attending SIR frequently, a gal in her Camaro drew everybody to watch because she kicked butt.

I strongly believe the markets are not equal, ceteris paribus. But not holding things constant would open many opportunities. I’ve always thought the women’s soccer field could be condensed to drive more action. Breaking from globally standardized norms is the hard part. And accepting inherent differences between the two is an uphill battle these days.

I can't stand the USA's team BS....
