I fished a popular SW WA lake recently.
For reason only the fish know, I think every Crappie, Bluegill and Perch jam themselves into a 1/4 mile section of a certain canal during the winter (trust me it is no secret, just motor around until you see a fleet of boats).
Although it can be a crowded fishery, it’s still a lot of fun to get out and catch a bunch of fish.
Jig leeches under a bobber caught all the fish.

Nothing huge, but a ton of fun.
